An Islamic marriage or ‘Nikah’ can be conducted at the Greenwich Islamic Centre. The Nikah will be carried out by an appointed Imam of the mosque and the newly-married couple will be provided with an official certificate to show that they are married under Islamic law.
Please note that an Islamic Nikah is not recognised as a legal marriage in British Law and the couple are advised to also register their marriage to have full legal rights under British law.
